Sharon Boyd, who has been dancing since she was 2, began teaching at age 12 for her dance teacher, Charlotte Peacock. Sharon started her business at the age of 18. Over the years, the business has grown to such a degree that it has expanded into over 10,000 square foot facility, including 4 large dance rooms and a 7,000 square foot fully equipped gym. Sharon starts her students as young as 15 months old through adult. Parents of students enrolled at Sharon’s can receive adult classes at half price. Sharon also offers special family rates and discounted rates for students taking multiple classes. Sharon’s students have performed at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis with Clint Black and Lou Rawls at the half time show. For many years they have performed on Channel 7, Good Morning Arkansas, Riverfest, and Jacksonville’s Wing Ding Festival. Last year, Sharon’s students were invited to perform Thriller at Boo At the Zoo. Former and present students have become members of Professional and National Dance and Cheer teams and have been chosen to twirl for the University of Arkansas Majorette squad.

Kristian Ameigh a native of Batesville, Arkansas began dancing at the age of 13 at Batesville Ballet Etc. under the direction of Cindy Hubberd and Patrick Crommett. He was also a member of the traveling dance troupe, The North Arkansas Danse Theatre. At 16, Kristian auditioned for the Academy of Ballet Arkansas where he received full scholarship. He went on to dance with the company under the direction of Kirt and Linda Hathaway. Mr. Ameigh went on to achieve his BFA in Ballet from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Kristian’s performance roles include, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, The Firebird, Swan Lake and many others. Kristian appeared in the gala performance of the Southwest Regional Dance Festival in San Antonio Texas as an emerging choreographers showcase. He has had the opportunity to take master classes from renowned dancer, Mikhail Baryshnikov. Kristian’s training has included, Ballet/technique, pointe, partnering class, variations class, Balanchine technique, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theater. Returning to his original roots in music, Kristian returned to his collegiate studies and attended Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas majoring in music performance. He has had the wonderful opportunity to sing with the UALR community chorus, the Lyon College Concert Chorale and was delighted to sing at the Robinson Center Music Hall for the farewell performance of conductor David Itkin along with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Kristian has worked behind the scenes at the Arkansas Repertory Theater in the costume department for the REP’s production of Mary Poppins. Kristian has also been involved in local community Theater where he performed NINE the Musical under the direction of Rafael Castanera at the Studio Theater and Once Upon This Island at The Community Theater of Little Rock. Kristian now travels and choreographs and dances for city, state, regional and national pageant competitions. He is thrilled to be joining Ms. Sharon’s and looks forward to working with each and every one of the students.
